This afternoon, Prince William County staff, leaders and community members gathered to celebrate the recent improvements made to Cloverdale Park. Improvements include a new entrance, new sidewalk for pedestrian access, parking expansion, improvements to the bridge and other accessibility improvements.

“This project and many other projects show that we are not only investing in new amenities and expanding our park system but also reinvesting in existing assets,” said Prince William County Parks Director Seth Hendler-Voss. “Many improvements have been made to the park including a series of accessibility improvements to make the park accessible for everyone regardless of their physical abilities.”

Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry also gave brief remarks at the rededication ceremony.

“Some of you grew up here, some of you remember this park when these trees were just being planted, and what we have done today to revitalize the park and modernize it is really impressive,” said Supervisor Angry.

Construction of the Cloverdale Bridge was originally completed in September 2022. To learn more about the bridge installation project, click here.
